Making Money Online

Brainstrorming session to stir up some ideas.

Each business will require different skills, and different amounts of time. My favorite ideas are the ones that create passive income. Passive, or residual, or royalty income is what you would receive for writing a book, or publishing a recording, or other duplicable work of art.

Another factor to consider is the amount of time required each day. An online store, for example could take a few minutes initially to package an ship the orders, but may grow into a full-time business. Someone has to be available to answer the phone. A blog may take much more time initially before any real income appears, but does not require constant attention, and can be managed from anywhere there is an internet connection. Writing a book can take years, but the payoff is well worth it. If you have something to write about, people will read.
